Software for digital camera which connects to a computer via a USB port. Its main use is for video conversation over the Internet with other people connected to the Internet and also equipped with a webcam.
Main Features:
- HD 720p
HD720p signifies a High-Definition (HD) image format, otherwise known as "HD Ready" in TV parlance. "720" represents an image resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels, while the abbreviation "p" is used to designate progressive scanning of the image (i.e. no interlacing).
"HD720p" provides high-quality images with high refresh rates (in this case, up to 30 frames per second), resulting in a truly amazing level of realism never seen in a webcam… up until now!
- MegaPixel (MP)
Unit of measurement of the number of pixels displayed in a still image or one taken from a video sequence. 1 MP = 1 million pixels.
- Digital zoom
Zoom carried out via software thanks to a mathematical algorithm allowing for the "enlargement" of pixels.
- Integrated microphone
- Microphone directly integrated into the webcam. Therefore no other microphone is required to converse over the Internet.
- Animated GIF
Animated image file format, commonly used on many websites, created via a succession of images in GIF format.
- Burst mode
Mode allowing the user to take several photos in succession via a single touch of the shutter button.
- Self-timer mode
Mode allowing the user to delay, for a defined period, the taking of a photo after having pressed the shutter button.
- Instant Messaging
Software allowing for chatting over the Internet.
- Fps (Frames per second)
Unit of measurement of the number of frames displayed per second in a video sequence. The higher this value, the more fluid the video will appear.
